Brain Dead just dropped a deep-cut Star Wars capsule and this one’s for the Expanded Universe fans.
Instead of going the usual movie-poster route, the collection pulls from some legendary Star Wars art history, featuring original work from Drew Struzan’s Shadows of the Empire era and Dave Dorman’s Dark Empire comic run.
The lineup is small but stacked:
- All-over rayon button-up (Pre-order)
- Leia graphic tee (Pre-order)
- Emporer graphic tee (Pre-order)
- Tote bag (Pre-order)
- Playmat (Pre-order)
The Dark Empire tees are especially sick, spotlighting Leia and a Bacta Tank graphic straight out of the comics. Meanwhile, the button-up might honestly be the standout piece — covered in classic Struzan artwork that feels like it came straight off a ‘90s sci-fi bookstore shelf in the best possible way.
Even cooler? The drop landed alongside a free original trilogy screening at Brain Dead Studios in LA. Very “if you know, you know” energy.
