Well it’s about time. I think I speak for a lot of Star Wars fans when I say I was a bit disappointed that so little was shown of Captain Phasma in The Force Awakens. Really? Taken over by a few dudes and a wookie? Unimpressive. But we’re stoked that we now get to finally see more of the Captain and what she’s capable of.

We first have the Marvel miniseries. Created by Marco Checchetto and Kelly Thompson, this 4-issue series follows the Captain’s trash-compactor survival, escape from Starkiller Base and the events thereafter. Drool over the above artwork for Issue #1 by Paul Renaud.

And then there’s the Captain Phasma novel by Deliah Dawson which will be part of “The Journey to The Last Jedi” publishing program. Not many details have been given about the novel, but c’mon, a whole novel just for Phasma? We’re okay with it.
