It’s not the first time we’ve seen Star Wars themed cars (ahem, Nissan Rogue), but it’s one of the nicest and cleanest. Mercedes Benz Japan, in celebration of the 40th anniversary of A New Hope, has released a total of 120 specially themed CLA-180’s and they’re beautiful. 60 are Calcite White to commemorate the Stormtrooper and 60 are Knight Black to honor the Sith Lord himself, Darth Vader.
The Star Wars details aren’t super obvious, but they’re tastefully done. The black model has red stitching inside and the white has white stitching. There’s plenty of Star Wars badging such as the projected welcome light when you open the door (see picture). There’s also themed floor mats and a commemorative license plate. It even includes a reversible themed sun-shade and Star Wars characters on the menu. And if that wasn’t enough, you’ll be hearing R2-D2 greet you while inside.
