There’s been numerous brands that have celebrated Star Wars in shoe form in the past. Whether it be Vans, Adidas or even Crocs, they make it and we buy it. With that said, the shoe sector has gone a bit dark as of late when it comes to our beloved franchise. Well, as it turns out, Sperry is changing all that. They recently dropped a new Star Wars sneakers line and it’s pretty dang beautiful.
The look and feel is somewhat reminiscent of how Vans went about it, but still with Sperry’s own unique touch and quality. We like how they didn’t go overboard with plastering every known character on their shoes. Instead, they carefully chose a few select characters and did them really well. Using a counterpart theme, you have Han Solo and Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2 and finally a Rebel Pilot design that juxtaposes an eye-catching Death Star design. All of these come in men’s and women’s sizes.
But then you have our favorite design which is the one that makes this line very unique. This sneaker pair features the original concept artwork of the legend himself, Ralph McQuarrie. Our guess is that this pair will be most popular and for good reason.
